well things are changing from day to day around here on southern lake Michigan…….Fishing for salmon and trout has been pretty good……the fall patterns are starting to work……….I will start offering night time trolling and casting trips for kings and coho’s in the next few weeks, so keep checking back…………………..

The salmon have moved back off shore into Michigan water, but fishing has been pretty good. Perch has been Ok, just takes some looking around to find the ones that want to bite…..last Sunday Team ITO charters took first place in the last of 3 perch tournaments put on by tonys outboard motors……congrats to all of my teammates……

The trolling for trout and salmon has been staying pretty good this past week…..Perch has slowed down a bit, but they are still out there…..While the Kings and Steelhead stay close i am offering a special Happy hour trolling trip in the Eve Durning the week….We are leaving the dock aroung 6 pm and trolling until around 9:30 ish……….the bite has been very good when the sun goes down…..the price for this is 200 for 2 to 4 people……….give me a call if you want to go

Hello again, The fishing is outstanding right now on lake Michigan…lots of keeper perch from portage to Michigan City and the salmon and steelhead fishing is very good….I will be posting pics a little later on….By the way i am the guest speaker tonight at the Coho club meeting so if you are in MC tonight stop by….i will be talking about perch and salmon fishing………..tight lines

Perch fishing is on fire right now, Lots of good eaters and some big one thrown in the mix…Big fish(trout and salmon are close to MC only about a mile offshore. now is the time if you want a trip…..call me….219-561-3405

Perch fishing has been spotty at best the last few weeks. With all of the bad storms that have went through NW Indiana the water is quite dirty….One day we do good and the next not so good….But charters are going home with fish to fry…..If you are heading out on the water this weekend please be carefull out there and where you life jackets…….till next time tight lines to ya……………..

Today was the first of 3 perch tournaments that are put on by Tonys Outboards…….I had pre fished on Friday and found some nice perch but after the bad storms Friday night I knew that they were going to move, and they did. I found them in 42 fow and a little west of where they had been..All of the fish taken on the ” KNOT RITE” hit ITO perch spinners tiped with baby shiners….Team ITO Charters placed 3rd with a weight of 10.80 pounds for 30 perch….We also tied for largest perch with one that weighted 1 pound even….The boat fished real good and the guys did a great job…….

Hello everyone, fishing for both Salmon and perch has been good. I had a last min perch charter Fri afternoon and took home 20 nice keepers, I had a salmon charter on sat for on of the other boats that I run out of portage and the boat went 9 for 19. We were 13 miles off shore and NE of the Gong. Hot baits were the blk fin tuna, carmel dolphine and a spin doctor and green fly..On sun i had a perch charter on the same boat and ended up getting 51 good perch 20 fow off of the donut. Went out this morning looking for Summer runs steelhead before I headed off to find perch…the boat went 1 for 3. I got a nice 10 pounder on shrimp and my center pin. If you want to take a casting trip for summer runs NOW IS THE TIME TO DO IT. This will only last a few weeks at best. head out to find some perch and did ok filling a Qt size bag of tasty perch fillets..Now is the time to book your perch trip with ITO it is only going to get better..
